
Anna Tonie Weber is a Luxembourgish concert pianist.
She studied at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg in the class of Éric Le Sage (Master of Music in Piano Performance), at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest with Márta Gulyás, Péter Nagy and Jenö Jandó (Spezialisation in piano and chamber music) and at the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot in the class of Ludmila Berlinskaya (Artist Diploma, 3e cycle supérieur).
Anna is performing both in solo and chamber music recitals in Europe, among others in Paris (Salle Cortot, Résidence de l’Ambassadeur, Fondation Biermans-Lapôtre, festival PianoCité, Musée Jean-Jacques Henner), Budapest (Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy, Nádor Hall, “Night of Music” organised by the Budapest Festival Orchestra), Brussels (Liszt Institute), Luxembourg (Concerts de midi de la Ville de Luxembourg, Cercle Munster, Colpach Church) and Riga (St. Saviour’s Church).
Passionate about traditional folk music, she transmits the joy of traditional dances and songs through the masterworks of great composers such as Lyapunov, Albéniz, Kodály, Bartók, Komitas and Constantinescu. Her concert programs are original and always striving towards authenticity of expression.
Anna received scholarships from the École Normale de Musique de Paris and the Adelhausenstiftung Freiburg im Breisgau and was supported by Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg. A report on her artistic journey was broadcasted on RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg in January 2025.
